Do you go to the Stirling Ranges in October?
The Stirling Ranges are a great place any time of year, but lots of people visit around the school holiday long weekend in September/October.
It's warming up, the wild flowers are out and the bush walks are great. But also, Narrogin Gliding Club is there on our annual visit . We call it our wave camp. We'll tell you why when you visit. We're there for a week from the long weekend at the end of September to the end of the first week in October to enjoy the area and fly our gliders around the ranges.
So, if you are in the area, call in, we'll be happy to see you. We operate out of a country airstrip on the north side of the Stirling Range Retreat and Caravan Park, which is directly opposite the turnoff to the Bluff Knoll lookout and car park. Drive into the Caravan Park and follow the signs.
If you lke you can just watch the operations for a while and have a chat, or maybe you'd like a flight. We'd be happy to take you for an air experience flight.
Flights can be a local jaunt, or for something really exciting that you won't ever forget we can take you over to the ridges to get close and personal with Bluff Knoll.
If you want more information, give us a call.
